Friday night Smackdown results and review (Jan. 17, 2020)

Smackdown last night featured Reigns vs Roode in tables match, John Morrison vs BIG E and lacey evans vs Bayley (replacing Sasha banks) and Kane returning. 

The Big red machine Kane opens the show

Kane made the announcement that he will be competing in the Royal Rumble match. Fun house Bray Wyatt interrupted Kane, he reminding him of their past going back in 2013. The lights started to get out the fiend comes to the ring and Daniel bryan came out running knee to face and took a piece of Fiend's dreads until he dissappeared from the ring. Kane and bryan started doing the YES! Chants.

Backstage Daniel Bryan challenges the Fiend Bray Wyatt to a strap match at royal rumble.

John Morrison defeated Big E

It was great to see Morrison wrestle in a WWE ring again.

The Usos defeated The revival

Backstage the Revival were being interviewed then they cut to lacey evans fighting Bayley and Sasha Banks. It looked like Banks was hurt. So she will not be able to compete so Adam Pearce came and told Bayley that she is gonna take Banks place in the match.

Lacey Evans defeated Bayley

This new side of Lacey Evans has been amazing to watch. She just plays it so good.

Backstage Braun Strowman demanded the shot at the Interconnential Championship.

Elias in the ring was interrupted by Sami Zayn and denying Braun the title shot. Elias made fun of Zayn. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro. They attacked elias and monster among men came out to save the day for elias.

Alexa Bliss defeated Soniya Deville

Mandy rose fell into Otis's arms from the turnbucke which caused the distraction and Bliss rolled up deville for the win.

Grade='C'

Roman Reigns defeated Robert Roode in a tables match

And ofcourse Baron corbin and Dolph Ziggler are gonna interrupt and help roode win but it wasn't enough for the Big Dog to loose. He speared Roode onto the table for the win.

He announces that the stipulation for Roman Reigns vs Baron Corbin at Royal Rumble will be a falls count anywhere match.
