Top 5 WWE Matches of the Week (13Jan -19Jan)

This was a week of wrestling with NXT UK Takeover Blackpool 2 taking place and being the early contender for PPV of the year and also with NXT, RAW and SmackDown.

5. No.1 contender Battle Royal for NXT Womens Championship - NXT 15 Jan,2020

This was not like the usual Battle Royals that take place in WWE, it had everything surprises, action and may be few rivalries set up for the future. With the surprise of Kacy CATANZARO and Shayna Baszler it made it more exciting to watch. Bianca Belair won the match to become the No.1 contender for NXT Womens Championship. 

4. Kushida & Alex Shelly (Time Splitters)

vs Zack Gibson & James Drake (GYV) - NXT 15 Jan,2020

This was a really great match. I loved both the teams in this match. GYV is one of my favorite tag teams in the world and seeing them move forward in the Dusty Rhodes classic tournament was good to see.

3. NXT UK Tag Team Championship fatal 4 way - NXT UK Takeover Blackpool 2 

This was a spot fest. There were so many good things in the match, it lived up to the hype. NXT UK has the best tag team division in the world which was showcased in the match. Gallus winning was good to see too.

2. Tyler Bate vs Jordan Devlin - NXT UK Takeover Blackpool 2 

This was one of the matches where you can't describe how perfect it was. If you haven't seen this match all I can say just go to the WWE network and watch it.

1. Pete Dunne & Matt Riddle vs Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster (SWSC) - NXT 15 Jan 2020 

For me this was the Match of the week or a match of the year so far. Seeing the Broserweights work together so well was fantastic. SWSC had too great matches this week which says why are they so good.
