WWE RAW results & review Jan 27, 2020- Randy orton attacks Edge, Drew McIntyre chooses his wrestlemania opponent

WWE RAW featured one of the most disturbing main event segments ever between Edge and Randy orton. Drew McIntyre chooses his wrestlemania opponent. United States Championship match between Andrade vs Humberto Carillo.

Also Wrestlemania is 69 days away (nice).

1. Drew McIntyre chooses his wrestlemania opponent 

RAW kicked off with the 2020 mens Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre.  Drew McIntyre says he still can't believe that he has finally done it and is going to main event wrestlemania. Drew McIntyre chooses his wrestlemania opponent that is BROCK LESNAR. Drew says he wants a claymore party and he throws a challenge.  Gallows and anderson answered the challenged Handicap match was set.

Grade- A

2. Drew McIntyre defeated Gallows and Anderson 

Drew McIntyre dominated the match and beat them in about 5 minutes. After the match Brock Lesnar came and F5 to Drew McIntyre. 

Grade- B

3. Rey Mysterio defeated M.V.P

This was fine but the wwe universe loves MVP. Rey hit a 619 on MVPs back and springboard splash to win the match.

Grade- B-

4. Aleister Black defeated Local Competitor 

Aleister Black defeated Local Competitor quckly. After that Black cut a promo where he says he was the reason himself that he got eliminated. He says now he is not gonna wait for somebody to pick a fight, he is gonna pick a fight with somebody himself. 

Grade- B-

This is really interesting. 

5. RAW Tag team Championship :Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy defeated Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe to retain

Before the match Seth Rollins cuts a promo where he says Drew McIntyre should enjoy the fans appreciation while it lasts, they will turn their back on him. Owens and Samoa joe comes out they says that AOP is gonna interfere in this match. They basically was fooling Seth Rollins to find where the AOP are and Viking Raiders attack AOP backstage. 

Match starts Owens and joe are in control, before the commercial break Samoa joe hit a suicide dive to Buddy Murphy he hurt himself he was sent to the back. So this became 2 on 1 Handicap match. The finish came when Owens hit a stunnee to Rollins but Buddy Murphy rolls him up to retain the RAW tag team Championship. 

Grade - B+

The match was good. Owens and Joe are just so smart in everything. 

Becky Lynch interviewed backstage she says she has beaten everyone in the locker room. She says if Charlotte wants to challenge her she is ready. She shows her jacket where G.O.A.T is written.

WWE 

6. United States Championship: Humberto Carillo defeated Andrade by DQ, Andrade still Champion 

Jerry Lawler on the commentary said Humberto Carillo reminds him of Justin beiber. This was a great match. When it looks like Humberto was going to win Zelina Vega broke up the pin and caused the dq. Andrade is all smiles but Humberto Carillo is just furious. He attacks Andrade and DDT him into the exposed concrete. 

Grade- B+

This was amazing. Match was really good but this fire from Humberto Carillo was amazing to see.

The 2020 Womens Royal Rumble winner Charlotte flair is next. She cuts a promo that she won the Royal Rumble and is going to wrestlemania. She says she is gonna reveal who she is challenging, Charlotte says she is challenging for a Championship and doesn't reveal who she is challenging now. The Kabuki Warriors interrupts. Asuka cuts a promo in japanese and they attack Charlotte.  A match is setup.

7. Charlotte flair defeated Asuka by DQ

They had a great match. Finish came when Charlotte applies the figure eight and Kairi Sane breaks it up with the insane elbow which causes the disqualification.  Charlotte then beats up Kairi Sane but Asuka pulls her out.

Grade- B+

8. 24/7 Championship: Mojo Rawley with Riddick moss retains against No Way Jose

Mojo Rawley introduces Riddick moss as the offence alignment . No way jose comes out match starts Mojo dominates the match and beat No way Jose. After the match someone from the congo line pinned Mojo Rawley to become the new 24/7 champion. It was R truth. But riddick moss stops Truth and rawley pins R truth again to become the new 24/7 champion. 

Grade- C+

9. Liv Morgan defeated Lana

It was a short match but I loved liv morgan offence in this. Since her return she looks like a million bucks. And her finisher looks cool too. Right result also.

Grade- B-

10. Erick Rowan defeated Local Competitor

11. Edge returns to WWE Raw

Edge comes with a thunderous pop and a standing ovation.  The Rated-R Superstar returned to WWE Raw and gave a passionate speech of making a return to in-ring action. The 11-time world champion, however, was interrupted by Randy Orton, who came down to the ring and gave his Rated RKO teammate a warm hug. Orton then hinted towards the return of the Rated RKO, and amidst a resounding 'Yes' from the crowd, hit Edge with an RKO. The segment turned more sinister when Orton picked up a chair from outside and cracked it over Edge's back. He then propped it up around Edge's head and climbed to the second rope as fans looked on in horror. Orton, however, jumped down, only to grab a second chair, propped it on Edge's face and delivered a con chair to Edge.
Grade- A+
This was one of the things that you as a wrestling fan will remember all the time. Randy Orton is so so good. The intensity oh my god. I was like he is gonna do it. I was scared please don't do this. This was nail biting and had you in the corner of your seat. 

Overall Grade- A
2020 for WWE has started really really good. We are getting really good shows. RAW, SMACKDOWN,  NXT and NXT UK. 
I am truly excited for Next RAW. Thats what you want to see.
