WWE Royal Rumble 2020 results & review - Drew Mcintyre & Charlotte are going to WWE Wrestlemania

This was my favorite WWE Royal Rumble PPV ever. It had everything great matches, amazing moments and some new WWE stars were born.

1. Sheamus defeated Shorty G

I personally thought this was going to be a squash. But I liked it wasn't. It was fine. It was great to sheamus wrestle.

Grade- C+

2. United States Championship: Andrade defeated Humberto Carillo to retian

I think this was good considering both are such amazing talent. The crowd was kinda like meh for this match I feel like.Although I didn't think it was a good decision to rush this match after a week Humberto Carillo returned on WWE RAW.

Grade- B

3. Falls count anywhere: Roman Reigns defeated Baron Corbin

This was really good and fun match to start with. Roman Reigns just always deliver in this NO DQ type of matches. I expected it to be good. Robert roode and Dolph Ziggler also got involved in this match but they were evened by the USOS. Roman Reigns also put Baron Corbin in one of the portable toilet cabins and fliped it. Roman Reigns speared Baron Corbin in the dug out area of the minute made park which looked really cool.

Grade- A-

4. Charlotte wins the 30 Women Royal Rumble match

This was an amazing match and also different to its previous years installments. I think this was by far my favorite womens royal rumble match. Alexa Bliss was the #1 entrant and NXT's Bianca Belair was #2.

Bianca Belair was the best thing about this match and basically a star made. It basically looks that RAW and Smackdown really need someone like her she is amazing.  Other notable things in this match were Mighty Molly, Kelly Kelly, and Santina Marella. Beth Phoenix was also in this she got busted open around the back of the head but basically continued the match for 15 mins she is a total fighter real respect for her. Shayna Baszler was my pick to win the womens royal rumble. She was #30 and my hopes got so high. But no Charlotte eliminated Shayna Baszler to win the Womens Royal rumble. I wasn't keen on the result at the time but thinking about it I am really interested in seeing where this goes. I am a fan of Charlotte hopefully this leads to something good. But this was a really good match.

5. Smackdown Womens Championship: Bayley defeated Lacey Evans to retain 

This was fine nothing much to talk about it. But that moment when Lacey Evan's daughter Summmer tried to hold off Lacey Evans was great.

Grade- B-

6. WWE Universal  Championship strap match: The fiend defeated Daniel Bryan to retain

This was unlike any other thing on the card. This was such a great match, maybe fiend's best match till now. Daniel Bryan is DANIEL BRYAN who basically  will get anyone over with his matches. 

Grade- A

7. RAW Womens championship: Becky Lynch defeated Asuka

This was a another good match. Not as good as last years banger but I think this match was in a tough spot too. I love Asuka . I love Becky Lynch. I liked the ending of this match where Asuka tried to green mist Becky but she kicked her and Asuka green misted herselg then disarmher and sumbit.

Grade- B+

8. Drew McIntyre wins the Men's Royal Rumble match

THIS WAS THE BEST ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH EVER. It was DIFFERENT, it was UNEXPECTED, it was FULL OF EXCITEMENT. Brock Lesnar announced enter #1 then #2 was ELIAS. Elias sang a song called Sacrificial Lamb coming down to the ring but it kinda fedup Brock Lesnar. He eliminates Elias quickly.

He eliminates Erick Rowan quickly. Robert roode, John Morrisson , quickly. But next comes KOFI KINGSTON looking for revenge. He holds until the next entrant which is REY MYSTERIO also looking for revenge. Both holds long enough for the next entrant which is BIG E trying to rally the troops. All of three tries to take out Brock lesnar but eventually brock throws them all out of the rumble. Next comes Cesaro and there goes Cesaro. 

Next out is a legit friend of Brock’s and a man who can apparently outwrestle Brock, Shelton Benjamin. The man comes to the ring and hugs Heyman, then gets into the ring and Brock gives him some respect. They hug and seem to form an allian…until Brock hits him with a German suplex and clotheslines him out. Shelton Benjamin Eliminated. Shinsuke Nakamura comes next get eliminated. Brock lesnar has now eliminated 10 entrants straight setting up a Royal Rumble record. MVP makes a surprising return and Brock Lesnar is dancing to his music (lmao). MVP gets f5 eliminated. But then when all our hopes were lost our lord and saviour KEITH LEE comes out and Brock looks amazed. Keith lee takes out brock but didn't eliminate him. Then Braun Strowman comes out he takes out both Brock Lesnar and Keith lee. Then Brock took them both out. When Keith Lee and Braun Strowman begins to square with each other Brock Lesnar eliminates them both. Hopes are gone. But then Richochet comes next looking for revenge from past week's WWE RAW. He survives till next entrant, music hits DREW MCINTYRE COMES OUT. Brock lesnar takes out his gloves looking to square with Drew Mcintyre but RICHOCHET WITH A LOW BLOW AND THEN CLAYMORE BY MCINTYRE, BROCK LESNAR IS ELIMINATED BY DREW MCINTYRE AND THE CROWD GOES MENTAL. This was a star making moment for Drew Mcintyre and my heart couldn't be more happier. Drew then eliminates richochet and the MIZ. Drew doesn't takes his eyes off of Brock Lesnar until he leaves. Then AJ Styles comes out. Dolph ziggler is number 19. Karl anderson next. and then #21 the music hits "YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME" EDGE IS BACK!!! EDGE IS BACK!!! ON THIS DAY.Edge emotions gets to him what a beautiful moment to start off this decade of WWE> EDGE SPEARS THE LIFE OUT OF EVERYONE THIS IS AMAZING AND I WAS TEARY EYED AT THIS MOMENT. Edge eliminated Aj styles it looked it wasn't supposed to happen. It looked like Styles was injured. King corbin next. Then Matt riddle after some striking some kicks he gets eliminated by corbin. Gallows next and he and karl anderson tries to take out Edge but next entrant was Randy orton. A nice Rated-RKO moment they eliminated The OC. Drew Mcintyre Corbin. Then comes Roman reigns, Kevin owens , then Aleister Black. Then Samoa joe. #30 was Seth Rollins comes with AOP and Buddy Murphy. They all eliminated Aliester Black, Kevin owens and samoa joe they brawl to the back. Seth rollins is left alone with Roman Reigns, Edge , Randy orton and Drew Mcintyre. They all hit finishers on Seth and he gets eliminated. Edge eliminated Randy Orton, Roman reigns eliminated Edge. The final two are Roman Reigns and Drew Mcintyre. THEN DREW MCINTYRE CLAYMORE ROMAN REIGNS HE ELIMINATES HIM AND DREW MCINTYRE IS THE 2020 MENS ROYAL RUMBLE WINNER. I don't how to explain how happy I am. Drew Mcintyre earned what he won. Congratulations to Drew Mcintyre.
